MailChimp Workshop Oxfordshire

MailChimp Workshop in Oxfordshire

There are people who will create your newsletter for you (including us), but if you want to do it yourself, what is the best solution?  We like MailChimp, not only does it allow you to send newsletters to up to 2000 subscribers for free, but once you get your head around it, it is easy to use and offers great integrations with WordPress and other tools. You can also now create Facebook ads from within MailChimp!

During this educational workshop, you will find out how to set up your MailChimp template, create your contact list and draft your first newsletter.  You will cover:

During the 3.5 hour workshop we cover:

  • What should I put in a newsletter?
  • Set up your contact list (with groups if appropriate
  • Create newsletter content with a template
  • Use images, change fonts, colours etc.
  • Setup links within the newsletter and externally
  • Understand the reports that are generated
  • Differences between free and paid options
  • Your questions answered

Our workshops are ‘hands-on’ – you bring a laptop and actually use MailChimp in class. Groups are kept to a maximum of 5 where possible to ensure that everybody receives individual attention. You will need to have access to a contact list and images.  You will be sent a questionnaire to help you work out what should be in your newsletters.
